Who owns nine-to-five ?

Employers across a variety of industries are grappling with dilemmas on how to define the future of work. They are each seeking to get the big questions right: how to attract and retain future talent; what the workspace should ideally look and feel like; the development of a distinct culture in a time of remote or hybrid work; and how to maintain performance while also accommodating the work-life needs of employees. Meaning and purpose in work are in flux as the nine-to-five of the pre-pandemic past is being reimagined. The social worlds of our workplace are a crucial inflection point in finding a way through these dilemmas.
